The staff of the Eastfield College Library is
here to help you find and use information in both print
and electronic form. This web site gives you an
overview of library services and resources. We want you
to know what is available to you.
The Library staff offers services and resources to
meet the informational and research needs of the College
and to support members of the College community in the
development of skills to be information literate and
lifelong learners. Librarians offer a range of services
including workshops, course-related instruction, and
consultation services for students and faculty.
We are always interested in getting input from you
about new services, online resources, and materials. If
you would like to request a new material for the
library, please complete the form.
Please do not assume that your students know how to
use a computer. While the number of Eastfield students
have computers and use them regularly, many of our
students have minimal computer skills. We feel that a
"Library Orientation" is essential to student
success. These orientations instruct students on
how to access online Library resources from
their home or office. If you are offering distance
education classes, you may also want to encourage the
students to ask for assistance at the Eastfield College
Library.
Library orientations can be tailored to your specific
class needs. If you are interested, please complete the form.
