Online
Thousands of eBooks or "electronic books" are
available via access to NetLibrary
through the DCCCD Library
homepage.
NetLibrary eBooks are digital full-text versions of
literature and fiction, reference books, and over 3,400
publicly accessible titles.
Three collections may be accessed:
DCCCD Collection – Over 3,400 selected books online
TexShare Collection – Over 5,000
selected books online
Project Gutenberg – A Public Domain
collection of thousands of classics in literature,
government documents, and other resources.
eBooks are FREE to DCCCD students and staff. Initial
registration is required from a DCCCD Library computer.
Remote access is available after an account has been created
at the home DCCCD Library.
eBooks offer table of contents, plot summaries, theme
development, character descriptions, historical information,
and critiques as well as the book.
eBooks may be viewed online or checked out for twenty-four
hours. eBooks are checked in automatically.
Due to copyright laws, not all books
are available for downloading.
